Fundraising and Events

Kirton Primary School is proud to support a wide range of fundraising events and activities throughout the year, bringing our school community together for great causes. From fun themed days and non-uniform events to seasonal celebrations and charity appeals, our pupils, families, and staff work together to make a positive difference. Each event is an opportunity to promote kindness, creativity, and community spirit, while raising valuable funds for charities and school initiatives. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support and generosity shown at every event.

Past Events

Red Nose Day - Wacky Hair Day

On Friday 20th March 2026, we celebrated and supported Red Nose Day by taking part in this year’s theme, ‘Take Yourself Funny for Money’! Children came to school with wacky, wild, and wonderful hairstyles—the crazier, the better—showing fantastic creativity with colours, accessories, and imaginative designs that brought smiles to everyone. They also enjoyed coming to school in non-uniform, with some choosing to wear red to show their support. Thank you to everyone for ensuring outfits and hairstyles were safe and suitable for the school day, and for your generous £1 contributions, which were donated to Comic Relief to support people in need across the UK and around the world.

 World Book Day - 2026

On Thursday 5th March 2026, we celebrated World Book Day by inviting children to come to school dressed as their favourite book characters. It was a fun and exciting day where everyone could share their love of stories and reading while showing off their creative costumes. Many children enjoyed talking about the books their characters came from and discovering new stories to read.
