World Book Day
On Thursday 5th March, children are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. This is always a fun way for the children to share their love of stories and reading! If you’re looking for costume inspiration, please visit the World Book Day dress-up ideas page:

Book Fair
Every child in the UK and Ireland will receive a free £1 World Book Token, which will be sent home during the week beginning 2nd March. These tokens can be used at participating bookshops or at our school Book Fair. Tokens can also be exchanged for one of the special £1 World Book Day books:

Our Book Fair will be open for parents and children to visit from 3.25pm – 4.00pm on:
Tuesday 3rd March
Wednesday 4th March
Thursday 5th March
It will take place in the entrance to KS1 (where you enter for the school performances). There will be a wide range of exciting books available for all ages.
We hope you enjoy sharing a new book together during this special week of reading!

Red Nose Day - Wacky Hair Day
On Friday 20th March, we will be celebrating and supporting Red Nose Day by taking part in this year’s theme, ‘Take Yourself Funny for Money’!
To join in the fun, we’re inviting children to come to school with wacky, wild, and wonderful hairstyles — the crazier, the better! Get creative with colours, accessories, and imaginative designs to make everyone smile.
Children are also invited to come to school in non-uniform on this day. They may wish to wear something red to show their support, but this is entirely optional.
Please ensure hairstyles, accessories, and clothing choices are safe, comfortable, and suitable for a school day.
We’re asking for a small contribution of £1, which will be donated to Comic Relief to help support people in need across the UK and around the world.
