Extracurricular Clubs

At Kirton Primary School, we believe that learning doesn’t stop when the bell rings. Our wide range of extracurricular clubs gives children the opportunity to explore new interests, develop skills, make friends, and have fun in a safe, supportive environment. Clubs are designed to build confidence, encourage teamwork and creativity, and allow children to pursue hobbies they are passionate about.

We are proud to offer these clubs free of charge, ensuring that every child has equal access to enriching opportunities beyond the classroom.

Clubs run both at lunchtime and after school, providing flexibility for families and ensuring all children have the chance to participate. After-school clubs finish at 4:15pm, and we ask that parents and carers collect their children from the main school office.

We offer a variety of clubs throughout the year, which may include sports, arts and crafts, dance, music, LEGO, and many more. Some clubs are very popular, so there may occasionally be a waiting list. Places are allocated fairly, and we aim to give every child a chance to participate over time.

Families receive information on how to sign up before the start of each club. Participating in extracurricular clubs is a great way for children to discover new talents, enjoy new experiences, and develop skills that complement their learning in the classroom.
